Bella.
The thought of her and the bloodsucker together, in close proximity, not even married or made into a vampire, was too much to bear sometimes.
It was absolutely pouring down rain. Jacob had lived in La Push all of his life. He knew his rain. And right now, it was raining harder than it had in many, many years. The last time he remembered it raining this much was when he was nine. It was beautiful, and at the same time very, very sad.
Despite the weather conditions, Jacob wore nothing more than a worn (still trendy!) tee-shirt and a pair of cutoff shorts that went down to his knees. It wasn't cold. Not to him, who practically radiated heat. For anyone else, the fifty-one degree weather would be quite chilling. He wriggled his toes in the sand, wanting nothing more than to transform.
And he did just that. With a snarl, a huge wolf suddenly stood in his place. He unconsciously thought around and found, surprisingly, that he was alone. And he smelled no traces of vampire even under the cover of the bitter-smelling rain. A small whimper broke from his throat. His shaggy fur was quickly pressed down onto his back, soaking through in a matter of minutes with the torrent.
He resigned himself to wander along the sandy shores. His mind shot back to Bella without his consent, and another low whine pulled itself into existence. No... This can't be happening... The one girl who he had thought loved him, only to run back to her obnoxiously dangerous bloodsucker boyfriend. Why had she led him on like that? Why did she encourage his love if she was using him.
Pain shot from his wolf heart to his wolf head and he forced himself to stop and lay down, dizzy with emotional agony. He couldn't be angry. She should have just told me she didn't love me... he thought desperately. She didn't have to... She didn't have to let us happen and then just shoot me down.
But he was a wolf. Maybe he was destined to be hunted, to be shot at. Maybe he really didn't deserve the love that he wanted so much. Maybe it was best to keep trying to ignore Bella, give her the option to choose, and hope she made the right choice. God knew that Edward didn't help that one bit.

Leah lay down on the sandy beach and closed her eyes. To any rare passers-by who were watching, they would asume she was sunbathing which was crazy in this weather. The sun was stuck behind opaque clouds that hung in the darkening sky, patterning a pink and yellow rainbow of colour. She wore nothing more then a dark blue tank top and denim shorts. The air lingered with the whisperes from conversations probably miles away.
Leah knew she was being childish. Avoiding the pack like this but she had a good reason to. Sam had told us all to take a break as he wanted to spend some time with Emily before their wedding.
Leah stood up and brushed off the white sand. She walked over to the campsite and kicked a log before sitting down. "Why do i let him get to me?" She muttered to herself before losing herself deep in thought.
'Stupid imprint. Stupid sam. I HATE SAM! I hate him for breaking me down like this and leaving me alone to pick up the pieces. I hate him for the whole werewolf thing. I hate that i have to listen every single thought in his mind and i Hate the fact that i still love him. I HATE him for it.'
She felt the anger boil up inside her again. It wasn't very hard to make it happen. Anything could make her mind have the need to brea free of these human worries and restreaints. She didn't care that she would have to run home like it as she had no spare clothes. She didn't care that if anyone else was transformed that they could hear her. All she cared about was forgetting Sam and Emily and their wedding. She transformed into a sleek white/grey wolf.
Unfortunatly for her, someone else was trying to forget.
'She didn't have to let us happen and then just shoot me down.' It was Jacob.
Leah rolled her eyes mentally.
'Great! I could be stuck having to listen to anyones thoughts and i get your melodrama issues Black. Is there no mercy?' Leah thought with a sarcastic tone.
